The hotel is very nice and is located in a good area close to the metrolink. It is next to a hospital so at night you can hear sirerns. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was hot and plenty to pick from. Only thing bad was you are charged for local calls.

We chose the Parkway for our vacation visit to St. Louis and were very pleased with our decision. We arrived before check-in time, but they found a room for us and we were able to check-in early. The shuttle service was a great surprise and saved us parking fees at several destinations. The breakfast was very nice as was the availability of fresh fruit and cookies. My husband typically has a difficult time sleeping away from home but even he found the bed and pillows comfortable. The affordable parking right next door was great. We also enjoyed the restaurants in close proximity to the hotel. The location made it very convenient to the locations we went to St. Louis to visit. We enjoyed the low key and quiet atmosphere of the hotel. We would stay there again and recommend it to others.

Accomodations were ok. Only paid $* for night. Free breakfast suitable. Rooms clean, plain, pillows were awful. My big rub was the shuttle service. We needed service to local arena. They had a shuttle at 5:30 pm and 6:30. We stated we would need the 6:30. We went to eat dinner, arriving back at hotel at 6:15. The shuttle passed us as we were walking back to hotel. In short, they left without us 15 minutes early. To their credit, they did come back and get us after delivering the passengers. When dropping us off they stated they would be making runs from 9:30-10:00 after the event to take us back to hotel. She also informed us she got off work at 10:00. After event we went directly to pick up location. There were about 20 of us who were staying at the hotel waiting for shuttle. After 20 minutes of standing there and no shuttle we all began to call the hotel. They assured us the shuttle was on the way. By 10:00 we were the only ones left outside the event waiting to be picked up. Taxis were becoming scarce since there were no longer people in need. Scared we would be left, we all ended up taking taxis back to the hotel. Upon arriving at the hotel we were informed the shuttle could not get to the areana due to blocked roads. I find that curious as other hotel shuttles such as Hampton Inn, Residence Inn were there to pick up their patrons. There were also taxi services able to get to areana. Nevertheless, even if that was true, that they were unable to get to areana why did the hotel keep telling us the shuttle was coming. Staff unapologetic when we complained.
